WIKING’s latest models include two classic small cars that have helped to shape post-war automotive history: both the Goggomobil with folding roof and the Fiat 600 are true to the original vehicles according to historic documents. Other newcomers joining WIKING’s range of classic vehicles include the 4-door Ford Escort with its striking dogbone-shaped radiator grille, the BMW 1600 GT Coupé and the Ford FK 1000 as a police vehicle. WIKING has also created a shining example of a youngtimer truck in the form of the Büssing BS 16 which appears for the first time as a trailer truck. In order to recreate the Büssing forward drive bus, WIKING breathed new life into its oldest moulds to date and the result was a gem with a 60-year history! Meanwhile, the Audi Q7 towing a trailer and the Scania Topline truck with facelift bring us right up to the present day again. On a larger scale, there is the MAN TGM with updated Rosenbauer AT body in 1:43 along with the mighty Fendt 939 Vario with twin-tyre arrangement as an international die-cast model in 1:32. In addition, WIKING has created an attractive mix of model vehicles ranging from classics to youngtimers. These include the Samba van and the VW “Pretzel” Beetle as well as the Citroën Pallas and the VW Porsche 914. The traditional model-makers have created an addition to the highly popular series of “Milestones from WIKING’s history” in the form of the limited edition set entitled “Fast & robust: the Hanomag Dienst fleet”. The rare large circular garage that is bound to evoke memories of the 1960s amongst avid collectors also makes a reappearance as part of the set.
