WIKING MAGAZINE 2009
BACKGROUND INFORMATION ON MODELS AND TRADEMARK
Once again, the WIKING MAGAZINE 2009 succeeds in bridging the gap between history and the present day. This time it also contains surprising previously unpublished background information which is presented to a wide audience for the first time. So this edition of the magazine on the brand presents a road safety display kit which the Ministry of Education and the Arts introduced in schools in Rhineland-Palatinate in 1954. WIKING model vehicles and accessories were set up on interesting boards and provided an effective aid for teaching children about road safety as well as being fun to play with.
The WIKING MAGAZINE 2009 also pays tribute to two silent heroes from the range: the Still electric truck and forklift truck are celebrated in glorious detail – accompanied of course by photographs of the models of the usual exceptional quality. The annual publication also provides a wealth of background information on current projects while at the same time looking back at WIKING models from the last 25 years, after 1984 when there was a change of ownership at WIKING Modellbau. The annual publication also contains other reports as well as model upgrades from the previous year, spread over 52 colourful pages complemented as usual by photographs of the WIKING models.
