WIKING brand magazine puts past and present in the spotlight
WIKING goes back a long time and stories from its archives are unrivalled by any other brand! Look no further than the WIKING MAGAZINE 2010 for proof. The magazine is packed with reports and background features on miniature models and timelines drawing attention to special themes. In this edition all eyes are on the Mercedes Benz Actros. Since its launch in 1996, 100 superb miniatures have been released. Impressive photos also display the wide range of special themes of interest to all enthusiasts and collectors! This includes the latest facts about the new WIKING models to 1:87, 1:43 and 1:32 scales.
The WIKING MAGAZINE 2010 also reveals what new programmes looked like 25 to 50 years ago – a retrospective with true nostalgia! Also featured is an article on the unveiling of a commemorative plaque in honour of WIKING as a model builder and the company founder, Friedrich Peltzer, at the historic premises in Berlin. Thanks to a collectors’ initiative, more than 120 guests attended the Berlin ceremony. WIKING also supported a new release of an updated WIKING transporter to 1:87 scale with the original “WM” logo at the front.
